A rare breed in football, defenders who can play upfront and vice versa.

I can think of only a few in my time of watching football...

Ian Marshall (the mulleted man from Ipwich and Oldham)
Dion Dublin
Chris Sutton
Gary Doherty

Anyone think of anymore?

I know Aido liked a go upfront now and again, it pains me to say it but i seen him score a corker from the edge of the box too, was probs a cross.

So many under my own nose there!

Lee wasn't a bad forward in that 99/00 season when he got about 9.

I was trying to think of the name of the Leicester player who was smashed in the face by Shearer's elbow, was it Walsh?
Shearer got a three match suspension after the event was sent in by video to get him banned.

What was the name of the Pool's player who used to lift one leg of his shorts up when he scored - he played at centre back a few times for us.

Damian Henderson. Not very skillful, but an honest 100% tryer.

More recently, Cooper played Mickey Nelson up front in a cup match against Carlisle when the whole contract disupte thing was going on.

Also, Jon Daly would have made a pretty useful CB judging by his performance against Rotherham the year we went down, he was amazing at the back that day!

It was, he was a good player that Walsh, I remember Ian Wright leaving the clog in on him once, he got up and lifted the little shite bag up off his feet by his shirt, Wright shit himself, the little bounder
