Looking through an old programme dated friday 31st March 1972 and came across an artical asking for fans to turn up at Grayfields for 11.00 o'clock were our supporters take on Scunthorpe Supporters in a friendly match at grayfields enclosure.Admission is free and the local lads will be going flat out to avenge a defeat at Scunthorpe on Boxing Day before the fourth division game at the County ground. Have we got any golden oldies out there who played or watched the game who can remember the score. :!:

I haven't got a clue Mr.Dixon....but Pools supporters have played other teams supporters loads of times down the years!!!! confised :sweeeet:
