...ALREADY, of the coverage of the f****** American elections. Note to TV companies....I DON'T F******CARE!!!!
Somehow I can't see the Yanks (and I don't blame them) showing the same extensive concern about our elections months before they occur as our obsessive media does over theirs........nice extended holiday for those covering it though....funny how they don't show the same depth of interest over the elections in other countries. :roll:

It's the elections for candidacy of the most powerful country in the world and our closest ally. The result of these caucuses more or less dictates what our foreign policy will be after the end of this year.

The reasons I think they get so much coverage.

1) There's nothing else going on at the moment, it fills a lot of air time and with 24 hour news channels now the norm they'll flog each and every half interesting story to death.

2) 95% turned out for the last carcass or whatever they call them, we are lucky if we get a 45% turn out in this country. It's clearly massive in America, and we are supposed to be best buds with them :roll:

im abroad and my only life line to reality is pools world and CNN at least you can turn over and watch corra ! (is our brian still on that ?)

The Yanks are very odd

They boot out the Democrats because BillyBoy got noshed of by a big fat arsed intern, despite the fact he wanted to bring in free healthcare and balanced they budget deficit, and vote in a party fully of right wing Christian madmen

im bloody fed up of majority of the news thts out now b'cos there is none its tht bleak i seen on cnn or sum other really boring global news channel about hartlepools own john darwin 2day :laugh:

hus bin in court 2day and got sum other charges him and his wife and use are right it was mentioned bwt twice all day tht i had it on (bwt half an hour)all the rest they had on was sum american Boll*cks
