Would rather have a president that attends games every week instead of sitting about on a saturday afternoon with his pals.

He was having a field day, everytime he had a chance to mention pools he did. Dimi, the Hereford game, Steven Istead when he got sent off, Jim Provett for Bury and I am sure he said Southend who were suppost to be playing pools, or something along those lines.

Devils advocate time here....WHY? Whilst I don't doubt his credentials, if we had to rely on people who speak favourably of the club on the media but were unable to attend the majority of matches, we wouldn't have a club would we. I believe the president must be someone who actually attends matches regularly, I WANT NO MORE ABSENTEE PRESIDENTS.... no matter how big their profile is ....There's an old bloke stands in front of me in the Town End and he's been going for as long as I can remember... he doessn't have the opportunity to decalre his allegiance to Pools to a national audience and his media profile must be on the verge of nil..... but who's really the biggest Poolie..?

Why does it have to be someone who goes to every match? I always saw a President as an ambassador of the club and Jeff fits that role, a lot better than the arse fiddler Stelling.

Christ would be a good call.

He can give us one of those miracle things that he does so that we can avoid relegation.
