Chrome Dreams II - Neil Young
Reformation Post TLC - The Fall
An End Has A Start - Editors

A real lean year in music I reckon. So sick of cockney yap masquerading as music on the radio.

Can it really be twenty-five years since 'Hand in Glove' ?

Crimea - Secrets Of The Witching Hour
Foo Fighters - Echos, Silence, Patience and Grace
Cold War Kids - Robbers And Cowards
Kings Of Leon - Because Of The Times

I do Fatty, I always do

I thought you might of bought the Kate Nash LP, but the fact that she couldn't knock a good tune out if she had six hands on each arm stopped you, like it did with me

Yes. I couldn't quite get away with his first album, though it had some great moments and I loved the Iggyesque title ("When I Said I Wanted To Be Your Dog..."). His latest is very good. A lot of Stephin Merrit in there, which is never a bad thing.

I think I've got the album betwixt those two - "Oh you're so silent Jens" the first song of which is especially good.
Sounds a bit like Mr Fireballs stuff but dont tell him i said so.

That album is just a collection of early singles and b-sides but it's far better than 'When I Said...' Maple Leaves, Black Cab, Pocketful Of Money and A Man Walks Into A Bar stand out for me but it's consistently good.

It's great that there are a few people on here who like him.
