I must agree totally about Barker, he is simply nowhere near good enough. My heart sank when I saw he was in the starting line-up yesterday as we all know it means we will resort to the 'lump it' game and stop playing any football. I think we could have out played Leeds (again) had we had Mackay or even Foley up front.

Where I do disagree tho is Brown, I think he has been looking a bit 'worn out' lately and I thought it showed again yesterday. Its not surprising given the way he has been carrying the team a lot of late but he certainly could do with a break.

Budtz made some good saves but he is still dodgy as hell on crosses. He is Martin Hollund in disguise.

agree about moore but barker no way he put as much effort as moore in so would give him a 7
we dont know if barker is carrying a knock and is playing due to lack of alternatives and that is why he is struggling. this is only a theory and has no substance other than i made it up.
what cost us the game yesterday was our old failing of trying to settle for a 1-0 and defending too deep other than that i thought we played reasonably well

he was superb and as someone said earlier that run he made in the second half when he was chopped down was very special indeed

We are all allowed an opinion, my opinion is James Brown was a long way from being superb, yes that run was good, but I can't remember him doing anything else.

I was told yesterday by another one of these know it all's that James Brown is definitely leaving in January. Very unlikely on a performance like yesterdays, if he wants to go to a championship club or higher it's the games against the strongest League One sides he will be judged on, not the games against the rubbish like Crewe.

He might have put as much effort in as Moore, but even as early as the 65th minute (when he was well worn out) it seemed like Leeds were going for it and the gaps at the back they were leaving would have seen young Foley burst through and win the game for us. Why Wilson couldnt see this is beyond me.

Leeds are not a great side......footballing wise, not even a good side.

Amen to that. I still think they'll go up, spending their way to second place. They'll remain in the Championship for the rest of their natural lives though a la Wolves

OK, so what Barker actually DID i'd rate him a 4.

On effort he deserves an 8.

Maybe a 6 is a fair rating.

What he actually did is kind of important, the rest is smoke and mirrors. An excellent Div 4 striker but found out at this level.

So what if he put effort in for crying out loud. I would have ran my bollox off for the team too but that doesnt mean that I would deserve a 7 as I would probably be completely lost.

As for coming up with a 'potential injury' out of nowehere to try and justify why he is so shite at this level, well that is just crazy. He struggles at this level because he isnt good enough!!!! He does not have the footballing ability or the pace to cope at this level and worry opposition defences. And I dont give a damn how many he has scored, most are penalties and he has missed sitters in abundance this season. Without him in the team we are a much better side, the vast majority of people who watch the team cannot all be wrong. Unfortunately Wilson is in the minority banghead

If we carry on with barker until the end of the season then we will be flirting with relegation come the end of the season. At best we will be below midtable. Replace him with someone half decent and Im sure we could get into the top half.

yes but some of our "better players" dont put the effort in and that is part of the reason we are struggling if all players were playing to their potential we wouldnt be where we are BUT we are and its not all down to barker banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead

of course its all down to barker stpid

according to someone inside the club whose word i trust completely, barker even made the half time orange segments too small, thus ensuring our relegation to the conference in three seasons. the twat. refred
