Sunderland at home. A couple of wins under our belt and we'll have em, easy. I'm still smarting (and proud) from last time we played them as the best team lost.
Need to get past Burnley first though and on current form that might be a bit tricky. :???:

Why not Arsenal at home to regenerate more interest in the club(attendances are below 4000 now)

I doubt even Manure at home would attract some of the lazy barstewards along to the Vic to swell the crowd. [smilie=pdt_aliboronz_30.gif]

Dont get me started.

With Arsenal being in Europe I am sure they don't enter the League Cup until the third round.

it will be of no relevance to Hartlepool United, I'm sorry to say
If we keep the defeat below three tonight it will be better than I expected.

well I enjoy being proved wrong at times like this. More of the same Pools, please. 5 strung out across the middle (with D Williams and Brackstone playing more like full backs though by the sound of things) has worked a treat in this away game, so long as the team has at least one good outlet up front (i.e. Porter tonight).

seriously tho anyone reckon ben clark/humpty et al will be back in the starting line up on saturday?

I cant see why Clark shouldnt be...no-one has ever mentioned it before, him and Nelson are pretty solid arent they?..Liddle is needed on the right and Boland is needed in the middle...Humphries wasnt missed tonight obviously

Thats not nice.

I was merely pointing out that there is no point in going overboard about a fisrt round cup result whilst we are 5th bottom of the worst league in the world.

I mean, look at the other results................... . Who fancies us to beat Hereford now?

Or was their result lucky.......etc etc etc etc.

Far too many shock results last night..................lets get 3 points on saturday and I will return to the good old happy Dibble.

I might even be nice to JD.

Oh..........and I am not sure the season ticket price is right if we are to end up watching a team with Brackstone, Bullock, Robson and Proctor as regulars. Know what I mean?

Who's going overboard, a win is a win is a win is a win

And as for the season ticket price,......... i'm sure....... you....have.....pointed out......your displeasure...al.....ready

It's like one of the private Health care adverts when the man/woman can only talk it short bursts
