To find eternal love with the girl of my dreams. And not phuq it up.....

To just have one moment of smugness supporting Pools, when we stuff either Boro or the Mags.

To be able to speak French and Spanish at an advanced level.

To make my family and friends proud of me.

I used to be really good at art at school, probably one of the only things i enjoyed at school. Where do you buy your gear like? Is it best to start with water colours or oils?

I pick bits of stuff up all over the place, but don't skimp on brushes...I usually go to Hobbycraft at Team Valley or Ords in Avenue Road and use oils or water colours, but use the tubes of water colour where it comes out like toothpaste  but I avoid acrylics, don't like em  ...If you wanna get some sketch pads cheap and of decent quality, try Au Naturale on the marina.
WHATEVER YOU DO...just give it a try, it won't come right first time, but you have to give it a go, it aint expensive and when it goes well it's very rewarding.

Try lightly sketching out your subject on decent paper at first then start playing about with the paints...it's all about experimenting with it to see what you can achieve.... you can buy as many books as you like, but if you aint got the talent it's a waste of time.... it takes lots and lots of lovely practice.

I saw Snowy is agin classes and he knows more about it than I do, but if you do want to join one there's a sort of art centre in Bear Park (between Durham and Ushaw Moor) that has a good reputation. It does evening classes as well as day. Can look up the number if you're interested, tim

I wish I could stop worrying about things which could go wrong, before they ever do, IF they ever do!!! I wish I would relax a bit more, and take my time enjoying the simple things, but I'm much too highly strung most times and worry tto much about details and getting everything right, and it annoys the wife!!!
Am I a termite? sctatchinghead

I don't know, but I'm exactly the same.
Even I never used to worry about a tyre blowing on the way to a match, tho, but after to-day will add that to my anxiety repertoire
