Having seen the garbage this poster used to pollute the rivals site with, dare I suggest that he is given a trial period on here and if he gets out of hand then ban him/her/it.

I'll second that, he hasn't performed like he did on the dark side. His contributions have been sensible. I suppose people tend to behave in a way that fits in with their surroundings. Take Grave and Tree for example, who would have thought they would add something to this site when they were on Rivals? on here they've been exemplary.

LOL, you mean you don't believe Tree and myself are the same person??

My behaviour was never that bad on rivals. There were loads of dicks on there who felt the need to start threatening you as soon as you dared to criticise someone like Ritchie Humphries. On this forum there is a good blend of positive and negative banter and it makes it the good forum that it is.

Couldn't stand him on Rivals, but because it's moderated by an idiot (it only took him about 6 months to take action) I'm not surprised.

Sussex is a good bloke I'm sure, and he's been fine on here. He's been here long enough to justify a trial period so I see no problem.

I think all the Rivals sites will be deserted by the time they fix that mess they've just created on there.

there are/were a load of good lads on that board, it's a shame there became an "us and them" mentality developing (on both sides). Personally I believe that having most of the M.B. users in one place makes for a more diverse, and ultimately better board all round. I enjoy reading other posters' thoughts, whether I agree with them or not .Although I have been known to get rattled from time to time with some folk on these message boards, I don't think things would be the same in a face to face debate. I think it's just the compact, straight-to- the-point way of message boards which might rub some folks up the wrong way, it's not usually meant like that but can be taken as such. If certain threads start getting heated (and they have), I'll not get involved because I could end up arguing the toss every time there has been a reply, and the need to have the last word is usually too much to resist for most of us isn't it?
I hope the newer members stick around, I don't know if it's the fact that Rivals was easy for juveniles from other clubs to come on and trade insults, and that this place is harder to find, such that it's a rare occurrence, that shaped the general mood of the messages on the respective boards.
I've noticed that some of those involved in such slanging matches over on Rivals, have shown a different side to themselves on here, that's got to be an improvement surely?
