Monitoring your daily 'motions.'

If you have a cack too early or on the wrong day they'll stick a red sticker on your arse. Three strikes and they'll shove a red hot poker up your teatowel holder.

when you get to sixty like err some on the board they send you a kit [snowy told me this]
you have to use this kit and take three separate samples from three different motions
it tells you how to catch them without getting them wet
then you have to seal then in a bag and put them in the post
i don't know what postmen get paid but i know the dog wardens get extra for cleaning the bins of poop scoop out

Next time I go shopping I might leave a load of the packaging in the trolley.

But would I then get done for littering?

As for the recycling, it's just a load of cost saving bollox.

The bin men now only go round once a fortnight. Why don't I get a share of the saving in my council tax bill?

As for taking the labels off stuff? They can fk themselves. Plastic stuff goes in the white bag with the cardboard but I'm not peeling labels for them.

Cans and bottles (of which there are usually too many to fit in) go in the blue box but again, I'm not peeling labels or washing them out first. As for telling me to remove widgety things from beer cans? I can't wait for the first claim when somebody cuts their hand open cos surely if they've told you to do it then they're legally liable for your safety in carrying it out. I know that I haven't seen any "guidance notes" from them telling you how to do this stuff safely.

I still chuckle to myself when I put the industrial weed killer and the fag ends in the brown bin though.

I also love having rubbish fires in the back garden when the bin is too full but not near to the fortnightly collection.

I burn a load of the cardboard and newspapers and stuff too before they get to recycle them seeing as though they only come every couple of weeks.

If they collected the lot every week it might work and be acknowledged as being an environmentally friendly scheme instead of a money saving scheme which is what the rotating fortnightly collections are.

Not so environmentally friendly when I'm burning it all in the chimnea though is it.

I can see people going to asda, and taking the wrappers off the goods they buy and leaving them in the shop. The supermarkets are gonna be a fookin mess.
i do that now a trolly full of packaging will help the environment

the thing is they empty your bin once a fortnight
then come back for your blue box and white canvas bag
yet it looks as if there is three squads running around chasing each other were it took two bin men prior to this cost saving measures
and another thing that stupid bloke on top of the wagon emptying blue boxes threw my box from the wagon onto the tarmac and cracked the box
it was a good job my neighbour was still in bed as i would have had a very angry letter of to the mayor

Round here, we still have weekly collections, but over in Weardale thay've been on 'fortnightlies' for about 8 months. So many people complained that the Council promised to have an enquiry : the enquiry consists of 'trying out' weekly collections again and 'assessing how it goes'
