... when we were playing at Walsall, I was 'working' till 4 and thought I'd tune in to get the score. I naively assumed, silly me, that as there was only Pools and the Loids playing, they'd be covering one match at least... er, NO, they were covering their dearly beloved boro in a pointless friendly. THEY ALWAYS BOAST THEY COVER POOLS HOME AND AWAY...BUT THAT'S ONLY RELATIVE TO NOTHING..which is pretty pointles, but sounds the part!

i sent an e mail to them last season about it and it is because of the contract they have with the smoggies
even when the smoggies don't play till Sunday we have to suffer all of their interviews while both us and darlo get two minutes max

CONTRACT? ...but they're a public service broadcaster, a contract in what sense? Remeber when they couldn't report on the Borers a few years back and they did total coverage of Pools and Darlo? It was really good with a top phone in afterwards, but that was its downfall because at the height of its success the Borers mysteriously relented and invited Radio Local back to their cloying fold. The coverage was dropped with indecent haste and we had the great choice of all the local radio stations covering the Borers for eternity or so it seems. We now have the heartwarming sight of the Radio Cleveland Boro bus trundling around Hartleppol procaliming their top class Boro coverage.... they're taking the piss aren't they?

the publicity people at a place like that, have as much idea about what we want to listen to as men from Mars would. In fact, bring in the Men from Mars

The 'man from Mars' would almost certainly have a .... Borers connection.
