I couldn't be arsed to travel more than a couple of miles to watch live football. What's the alternative anyway, Middlesborg, I'd rather have my balls cut off.

Born and bred in Hartlepool. Makes sense to support your home team although I gather there are one or two armchair premiership supporters around

Madness i guess  got my boy his 1st pools shirt today for his coming birthday, hes been to two games and might start to bring him more regularly if i think hes gunna settle ok. Im afraid watching the recent pap on the pitch might ignite his boredom spells like   . As long as his mates dont try turn him into a glory hunter ie championing premiershit i will be satisfied  .

Born in the town, grew up in the town. Had a passion for climbing walls and fences as a kid.

I've always been interested in football and would talk to the lads at school about the weekends matches, rather than talk to the girls about who was top of the charts (maybe I was the original ladette !!). When I met Ken, he already supported Pools, and our first date was a Pools vs Darlow match.

Since then we've brought three more Pools fans into the world

Before too long, a uniform just gets to be a habit
