If they are found guilty of all these 'illegal' payment charges, I wonder how hard the FA will come down on them. Surely if Leeds lost 15 points they'll be in line for a similar level of punishment.

They former chairman has admitted his part in the dealings, something along the lines of Mike Newell said he wanted the players so I did what I had to to get them.

Wouldn't the charges be similar to what Chesterfield faced rather than the charges Leeds faced?

Yeah I guess so, can't remember what the Chesterfield punishment was, just enough to stop them from slipping out of the automatic promotion places I think.

Isn't Frank Clarke, ex Forest Manager, part of that committee and wasn't he part of the tribunal who decided Steve Halliday was only worth about two and six in old money rage banghead
