working with kids at Pools would be no worse than working with kids at Norwich surely? They all play on park pitches at that level, they must have offered him a hell of a salary rise to go there.
The thing with Pools is, I reckon he could hve stayed here as long as he wanted to.
The way the likes of Norwich sack their management is nobody's business, and there is usually a wholesale clearout of all backroom staff when new people get brought in. Championship-level clubs don't keep their management teams for more than 18 months at a time it seems to me.
I don't see it as a very long term or stable move to be honest, but maybe he's just seen the money on offer and thought, "f**k it, I'll take it while I can."
