Agreed. He was dire. Nelson was no better either. While we are at it, Barker is not up to it either.

To be honest, I didn't think he was that bad. Gibb put in a good performance too.

Barker missed a sitter and then gave the ball away for their goal after Ritchie headed it clear. Other than that we couldn't finish. Dire.

What a poor footballer and a poor performance today. Absolutely clueless he is.

Idiot

Humphreys was marking their best player, yes he had a tough time but he is one of our most solid players.

Solid in the tackle, solid in the air, complete and utter commitment and determination 100% of the time.

Who do you think our best defender is ? Nelson? Put Nelson up against Ronaldiho and see how he performs.

That Bournmouth player Henry was a cut above the rest, the only player better than Henry on that pitch was James Brown.

He's not the answer to the left back slot though is he confised

Its not the lads fault he's consistently been played there, he gives 100% yeah but sometimes maybe thats not enough.

Its not just him though, a few players ought to be looking at themselves and wondering can I do better!

You are the idiot mate, not him. Try watching the games in future. Every time Ritchie plays badly people always come up with the "he was up against a good player" excuse. If Ritchie cant handle playing against decent players then he shouldnt be playing in league 1 should he! Im not saying that it is all Ritchies fault, its the manager who chooses him at left back but no way has he been good enough lately

I've thought this about RH for some time but invariably received incoming fire. Effort is simply not enough.

We seem to have MacLaren's disease at the moment; decide on your favourite players and fit them in irrespective of position.

Humphreys is not a capable enough left back in this league.
Brown is not a winger.
Gibb is not a right back.
Barker is not creative or flexible enough.
Elliott has not been given a fair chance to establish himself.
Barron is way better than Gibb at right back.
McCunnie is far better than either.

Whats going on with Monkhouse?
Why cannot DW see that Porter and Brown/Moore is a better combination that either with Barker.

Tonight Pools were poor against a poor side. At the moment Darlington would hammer us out of sight.
