Not sure if anybody who didn't know him "should" be there.

Funeral is more for family and close friends and they might not want strangers intruding.

I would suggest anybody think very carefully before deciding to just turn up and see if there is any official guidance from the club.

Probably be OK if you're just gonna stand outside the church which is what I'd do.

Usual thing is to go to the Church for the service but stay away from the more private commital in the cemetery or crem.

All depends on the day I suppose, small church, quite a few people going in , stay outside. You just have to play it by ear depending on the circumstances....if in doubt stay in the background.

I was planning on going, but as has been said I will be staying in the background, and not interfering with any family grieving.
