Danny is giving a lot of support to Ali Gibb and saying he's been underestimated. I'd probably agree with that....but all the more reason to wonder why Coles was ever brought in at all ?

Well, clearly Coles would have received it while the plan was in operation. What on earth will happen now I don't know

carlisles right back played a very long diagonal ball at the vic in the general direction of mcunnie. he looked a bit scared to head it and let it bounce and things nearly went tits up, so we signed coles for 4 weeks to combat it.

that was the official explanation.

Yes but Ali has been here all along?? sctatchinghead

It's fair to say the Mail are adding two and two together and think Ali Gibb is going to play right back tomorrow, its a fair assumption. So when they ask Danny Wilson about him he's not going to turn around and say he's fooking shyte is he? He has said what he's bound to say. He obviously thought Coles was a better option though or he wouldn't have got him on loan in the first place.

At least Gibb will get into the oppostions half and may even put the odd good cross over, he's never been given a fair chance by most terrace experts so I hope he takes his chance and I've never seen anyone distribute the ball from the back as Coles did against Brighton so we're hardly losing much in that respect are we? Lets just hope Milwall don't play any of those nasty long diagonal balls though or we're fooked without the dealing with long diagonal ball specialist Danny Coles
