how emotional was the minutes silence?
I really don't know how our lads played after that, Lidds and Brownie were in tears...I felt so bad for them.

But them lads ran their legs into the ground and were a real credit, the whole team were in fact!

you could see the emotions bubbling under all match, so it was no surprise to see it spill over at the end

I was proud of em today! rolf

Agreed, I think it was too much for them today, certainly playing a side like Brighton was anyway.

If we'd have played a team who didn't battle and fight for everything I think we'd have ran out comfortable winners today, but Brighton to their credit came to make it as hard as possible for us, and their plan worked.

Not nice to watch, but effective.

I agree 100% today was not about micheal maidens it was another game, one we should have won. The players cannot make excuses this is football and what did you expect Brighton to do ? lay down and let us win. No chance and the sooner monkhouse goes to leeds the better never seen a player not botherd in all my life.

And what do you think the cross was, that McKay just missed near the end? Monkhouse is not playing as well as last season, but he has had a stop start season. He needs a decent run in the team to get himself going.

It was a very emotional occasion. At times it looked as if the lads didn't really want to be out there playing which is understandable. Unlucky result, it always hurts more losing deep into injury time but I'm sure the lads will bounce back.
