What's our all time low attendance ?

and some of us of this board were there

does that make us the sub 1000 elite

That's absolutely off the scale.

To be fair, it's an awful start for them considering they've got to the playoffs about 17 years in a row. Maybe their fans have finally given up the ghost!

Just been searching ITMC for a low attendance match, in the freezing pouring rain, at home, against Scunthorpe, that we lost. I think this must be it, my faith nearly died that night.

They don't even list the attendances for the JPT on the BBC web site, so I only know Pools figure. Was there any other sub-1000 attendances?

and dont forget twenty years ago 93 away fans turning up to watch pools away was a good turn out :shock:

Were there 93 at that snowy night at Port Vale to witness another 5-2 victory or was it and different number in the 90s

I was at Swansea 93/94 season, Pools switched the match to a Friday night, just three days before it was due to be played (on the Saturday). This meant that most of the hardcore couldn't get to go to the game, due to such short notice of the switch. I seem to remember it meant that it suited Pools, as John MacPhail's suspension wouldn't kick in until the Saturday, so he was available for the match on the Friday.
As it turns out, seven fans were present in the Hartlepool end. Four in my car, two from Coventry who had travelled to watch Keith Houchen play (honestly), and Mr 6:12 Crew from this board - who was genuinely gutted to find anyone else there!!!! He wanted to turn up to at least one Pools match where he was the only supporter!!! :laugh:
