Do you think Brown/Porter is as near as we could get to emulating the Boyd/Porter system?
And if so who would play left wing?

Edit: correction, right wing!

If that was the front combination of choice then there's only one option for left wing - Mr M Robson.

Aye.

Cos Monky was class on the right against Walsall.

Anyway, it looks like the preferred choice is Porter & Moore.

Oops I meant right wing :uhoh: :uhoh:

I believe the only cover we have in that department is Gibb and ... er ... is Maidens still here?

Cover for the right win.............................. McCunnie? Gibb, or ermm Humphreys if we use a very heavy ball and steal the oppositions studs.

If we had some pace, mobility and skill up front I'd give Ali G a go.

At the moment we are dependant on pace coming in from the flanks because of the silly pairing that he persists with up front just because he signed them both.

On a related subject, would it be worth gradually extending the time Mackay spends on the pitch to more than 10 minutes?

Where's the Porter and Chip, option ?

Seriously though, Porter and any of the others, probably Barker or Moore
He's got to be given a run of starts, to get his match sharpness back.

I reckon McCunnie could do a decent job on the wing, he's got a good touch, looks willing to take players on and can knock a decent ball in. We could then bring Coles in at right back and stick JB up front with Joel.

Saying that I would rather see no changes down the right side and Joel and Moore up front.

Interesting that no-one has gone for the current partnership.

Porter and Moore is the pairing of choice.

71% reckon that it should be Porter & Moore, interesting. Even more interesting is that 88% want Porter to start alongside Moore or Barker.

id jump at the chance to play up front with joel porter. im currently lumbered with the ex seaham red star striker rob magee, who makes me do all the running about. dibble would confirm this to be so if he wasnt missing in action.

not that i will be doing any running about this saturday as townendtimmy has instructed one of his henchmen from the collieries to knack me in the opening minutes.

You think that's a problem??

Wait until next time you splash out on a Chinese. I think you'll find you're the second 'splashee....'
