EX pools players scoring

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

I'm not a Rajist, but Shelton and Kabamba were scattered by challinor. Can't blame Raj for every micro decision.

I agree. Shelton was a decent midfielder but not a world beater. Kabamba has had more clubs than Tiger Woods( I nicked this expression from another poster I admit). Kabamba was excellent for a few months and then coyldnt be arsed. Same happened with Umerah

Add to this that Molyneux and Manni were both offered new contracts but turned them down because they wanted to move on to pastures new - simple as that.
and wasn't Luke Armstrong just at Pools on loan?

Now't to do with Raj. And I still think Kabambas' shite.

Not goal scoring, but Ryan Johnson was in the northern Ireland squad tonight for their game against Germany. Pleased for the bloke, he was decent for us.

Armstrong was on loan and not our player to do anything about.
It was out of our hands.

No.
It was his fault we brought them here in the first place with the non investment from the cup runs.

To be brutal, players who’ve moved on are of no interest to me whatsoever.
While I wish them no ill will and appreciate the input of some, they are no use to us anymore and those who wear our shirt now is all that concerns me.

my main hope is that he has no say in the good, the bad and the ugly who have gone to pastures new.

I'm sure we SOLD Kabamba to Kilmarnock for about 30k. I thought he did alright for us, in what was a poor team under Dicky Dosh sctatchinghead

We did. He started like a house on fire for them and was the best new striker in the Scottish Prem for about 10 minutes.

I wonder if there will ever be a day you criticise him, I wonder what it would take?

People will criticise who or when they see fit, they don't have to follow your example.
There's a lot of preaching about free speech lately and respecting other people's opinion but you don't appear to want to sing in that band.
What will it take for you to stop criticising people who don't wall to wall criticise like you do???

i have always wondered how many fans just follow the majority or the popular opinion of players either being good or bad and do not want to stand out by having their own opinion of the player.

There's a photo of banner at the top of a Poolie's Twitter page you probably know.

The banner says "Support The Team Not The Regime.'

I think that's what most people are doing right now, certainly the one who are going to games and not boycotting.

Wanting Simon Grayson and his team to do well this season doesn't imply anything about a person's attitude to the club's owner, much less make them 'Happy Clappers.'

I'm pleased that SG has been given sufficient backing to put together a competitive team. Massively disappointed by the ongoing boycott of named journalists at BBC Radio Tees and the Mail, which is a ridiculous own goal.

As someone else has said on here, the ideal scenario would be for Raj to fund promotion this season and then sell up to new owners who can really kick on from there. That would be a decent legacy, not that Poolies would forget the times that his decisions have been a long, long way from optimal.

We are where we are. All we can do is make the best of it and get behind the team.
The politics has moved into the shadows…football takes centre stage and that’s where we should all be focused on and encouraging.

I've criticised Raj plenty, most recently over the Stelling and Tees bans. Just asking if he's getting the blame for good players leaving does he get plaudits for good players arriving and bad ones gotten rid of - or is he like most Chairmen and not actually involved in player recruitment?

exactly. his only involvement is the budget managers get for recruiting them. anyway you go to the match and i,d guess most like me never give the owner a single thought win lose or draw. its only after when you look for a scapegoat if its less than a win we see.
