Personally I thought the midfield struggled to cope with FGR's press all afternoon. Milley did well, Sheron so-so, Daly pretty anonymous. Charman worked as hard as anybody on the pitch first half but ran out of gas later.
Still, the local yokel commentators on DAZN said Pools were the best side FGR have played so far this season and Savage's lot settled for the 1-nil 15 minutes before the end and pretty much ran the clock down. Can't argue with the no end product from Pools though.

Midfield and wide men didn't create much at all, strikers feeding off scraps - they won't score if we don't create chances in the box. Reid can't play as a target man on his own. Agree subs offered nothing.
