But let's address our problem in the oppositions box this month or its we only 6/7 points behind play offs at Xmas n possibly a hat trick of none entry in the FA Cup.

Johnson should have done better with the chance for sure. But we're toothless going forward, Reid has done nothing all game, Charman started brightly but has been poor since they went ahead. Need a winger for sure.

I think tommorow will definitely tell us how good or far away we are. We are on a little bit of a slide at the minute so hopefully we sneak a daft goal and somehow hang on again.

Saying that though can't see anything other than a comfortable win for them though 2-0 they are probably 1 of about 5 teams capable of winning the league and we're probably going to be sat back until they score.

It’s a real shame . It’s so disappointing that our strikers lack quality and end product and cannot get into the game . Don’t want to put the white flag out yet but without goal scorers we are fucked . Can’t fault the rest of the team though. And the subs did nothing .

He is gone because people within the club have no idea. Just brushing that decision and many other decisions dont help. We seem to have a history of making major cock ups. Pointless moaning about not having a forward line when we had one, just the rest of the team wasn't particularly good.

We haven't seen enough in and around the opposition box to judge our current strikers imo. Mani would be struggling to score goals in our side at the moment, you can't score if you're not creating chances and if you only create 1vor 2 chances in a game you can't expect a striker at this level to convert them all.

Good forwards make something happen. We are just devoid of anything. Let's remember the forwards we had last year were playing in a much worse team, but if we dont start scoring we're probably going to end up struggling to win as many games as last season.

To go into this season with that forward line and a total lack of creativity was always going to bite us on the arse, we have just got away with it because of a quality keeper and defence.

Mani, Molyneux, etc went because they wanted to, none of us know the reasons - Mani has had more clubs than Tiger Woods and rarely stays anywhere for long, his stay with us is probably the longest of his career.
Players have all the power, who'd have thought Isak would leave Newcastle when he had a contract until 2028? Plenty of decent players leave their clubs at the end of their contracts, we're no different in that respect. We don't know their reasons for going. Obviously we all wish they hadn't gone, but they have and they're not coming back. Waterfall, Ferguson, and others also left at the end of their contracts do we want them back too.
If we're going to slate the owner for Mani leaving does that mean we praise him for the successful signings, Francis, McNally, Benn, Kougun, John, Cartwright, all of whom look a massive improvement on what we had?

draws are what killed us last season and its starting to look the same this one. fact is we, be a point better off if we,d have won one and lost one of our last two home games. we need at tricky attacking midfielder who can come up with 10 goals a season plus a real target man who might look like a real stiff in this league. Doncaster rovers are only bigger than us because they have had money pumped into them. I dont think anyone would of said they were any bigger than us when they were at belle vue. I'd love to see what would happen if we had real money thrown at us. We always have an excuse. Both molyneux and manni wanted to stay. Manni is now going to have another season of 15 plus goals for 3 seasons in a row. The excuse with manni is he doesn't stay anywhere long, alex Reid has had about 15 clubs also, thats what happens in this league, pay them well they stay, if you dont they naff of to rochdale and Doncaster.

We are a club thats always saying let's wait, we are always waiting on something before we know it quarter of the season passes us by then half a season and then everyone's left saying well in March melchester rovers be releasing some players. It would be a novel idea if one day we have a good strong squad thats competitive all season that can take 2 or 3 injuries that has fire power from day one not when your giving yourselves a 10 point handicap on teams that win 1 in every 2. We will never ever get out of this league unless we're seriously lucky in play offs if we keep talking this stance. We will now need to pay probably good money to find a 20 plus goal a season striker if we're ever to have a chance.

whilst money is important you forget that players have ambitions to play at the highest level they can. donny have always been a bigger club than pools apart from a few years in the doldrums they got out of whilst we managed our best to get back into ours. years of playing 2nd tier football both in the distant and near past with gates higher than us as well as having grounds twice the size of the vic and playing on the outskirts of the town. if we did find our own suger daddy and the team dare not win every game you know quite well ther would be posts on here that players were only at pools for the money. things are what they are and we cannot do anything about it. doubt anyone has ever entered the vic expecting success year in year out but griped about finishing 17th when we did actually get promoted the season after.

Molyneux would have stayed if Pools had offered him a decent deal during our first year back in League 2 - that one is definitely down to Raj and Lee Rust.

I don't recall Mani EVER making noises about wanting a new deal at Pools. Said at the time that after the last home game of last season he said his goodbyes to the fans - you might have seen that too if you were there.
He's moved on to a club with multi-millionaire owners - which I have also pointed out - and has collected another nice signing on fee - which seems to be his m.o. Can't blame him - it's a short career and he's knocking on a bit for a footballer.

Chasing the money is what Mani does, that's how he came to us after Halifax couldn't match what we were offering. There's no player who should be dictating who else is at a club unless they're player / owner.
He came to us for more money, he's gone somewhere else for more money, move on.
