Would've had Charman starting for Johnson personally.

About as expected , again that bench is so defensive, 3 defensive mids and a center back, hopefully much needed reinforcements soon

Big game for Johnson , really needs to start pulling his weight with a goal or decent performance

0-0 half time
Came into a bit more but Boreham have some canny players and were better overall

Lack of quality final ball cost us a bit, and Francis looks like he’s carrying a knock which will be bad

Said it before but if we are serious about doing anything we desperately need athletic reinforcements up front

Johnson looks like he’s 10 years older than anyone else playing and his body language is shite

Spot on. So basically we're just the same but with a defensive change because Johnson going off will have no effect on the game at all based on what he's done so far.

Francis and Daley off now for Charman and Walker.

What a great performance yet again by the Pools back line . Never say die . Great attitude . Goaly also again solid. You can’t fault the commitment of these guys .

We have a promotion defence and a mid table attack. Doesn't take a genius to know what we need!

Cleary not getting a look in for Barnsley, should be trying to get him back on loan until January.

Would have been disappointed with a draw beforehand but BH looked decent and with 10 men for so long it wasn't a bad result, think it was a harsh red, looked like they both had a pull of each other and their lad went down, should only be a one match ban regardless.

Oh and McNally was absolutely superb, MOTM for me, 2 unreal last ditch tackles.

We can dream. He would make a fantastic difference.

Pools are now solid but still lacking real bite up front. Stupidly early days but maybe we are good enough to sneak into the play offs.

Pools were really poor in the 1st half but can't fault the players attitude when we had 10 men. We have some solid players but we are desperate for some creativity, on that showing Daly isn't the answer, thought he was terrible today. We don't create many clear opportunities for the forwards and that makes Johnson pretty anonymous as he's a poacher and likes the ball in the box,he's not suited to counter attacking. Hopefully we can address this in the coming week and get some pace and creativity in,the bench is weak and too similar.
Have to agree about McNally,he was fantastic today and should have been MOM, cartwright didn't really have too much to do today thanks to some good defending. Cameron John as well, really like him, had a great game today.
Up there with one of the worst reffing performances I've seen in a long time, how many decisions did that bloke get wrong today!! We've had him a few times and he's rotten!.

Grayson has intimated that there might be an addition or 2 after the EFL transfer window closes. I'm sure he knows what's needed and will be working on it.
Not sure why the red made them re-take their defensive free kick which led to the sending off. Stonewall foul and red card, one of the few decisions the ref got right, one of the worst refs I've ever seen at the Vic.

Daly and Johnson both poor a couple of addition and Francis in his best position sorely needed

Was impressed by Boreham Wood - a well drilled side that gave Pools plenty of problems when it was 11 v 11. Unfortunately they're good at the dark arts too - 3 went down like they'd been shot in the 1st half and jumped straight up again when they saw they were getting nowt. Different story in the 2nd half - the lanky blonde streak of piss of a ref gave them every decision!

To be fair, SG had no complaints about the sending off and managed going down to 10 men very well. All the subs made a difference - Parkes got his nut on everything, Charman caused BW no end of problems at the top end of the pitch and Walker (later Hunter too) got stuck in in midfield.

A hard fought point by all the lads but a few questions to be answered if Pools are going to keep up the good run of results - we were second best first half. A couple of new signings would be great, but till then -
Can Pools afford to waste Francis at wing back? SG went to a back four after the sending off - if a back 4 can do it when the team is a man down, why not from the start?
Daly isn't the answer to Pools wasting dead ball opportunities. He's as off beam as Benn was before his injury. Never thought I'd say this, but Walker might be the best bet out of the players Pools currently have available.

Good to see the Mill House pub has reopened - thought it might have been gone for good.

i always split the season in groups of 6 games and wanting a minimum number of 12 points from them. we have done that on our first 6 so i,m happy if it contiues on the next 6.
