Not very much to complain about there (though I have found something)
Up against a poor side but completely in control

Cartwright 7 not much to do but what he had to he did…

McNally John, Kouagan all 8 really solid players fast physical and brave, v impressive, nice to see John score

Francis 8 MoM really got fwd well in first half and scored, will see how he does Monday defensively but great attacking option against the shite sides

Topalji 6 quieter today but didn’t do much wrong

Sheron and Miley 7 - both worked hard and did well

Daly 6 - some nice touches but doesn’t press too much and not sure how well he fits with other fwds

Reid 7 took his goal very well

Johnson 4 doesn’t press well, doesn’t hold the ball up well hasn’t looked like scoring, based on his record is any decent player in there but if we had any proper alternative would likely be dropped- really needs a goal and hope he gets one.

Overall very good, be a lot tougher tests to come but really a lot to like…loved the last ditch defending at the end to stop any consolation goal

Toppers deserves an 8 even if only for that last ditch challenge, but his cross for Francis’ goal was perfection.

DJ and Daly deserve credit for a couple of very good assists too, but can’t argue with any of the rest of what you said.

Johnson needs a chance or 2 dripping to him in the box. Can't fault his graft or his pressing imo, him and Reid kept the defenders and keepers on their toes.
Daley's set pieces are way better than Benn's and consistently way better than anything in the last couple of years.

According to a report, Cartwight made a top quality save in the dying minutes to keep the clean sheet? Obviously I didnt see it but was it a good save?

Yes he made a great save late on almost Schmeichel-esque imo.

It was an excellent save, hit him in the face though. Did well to keep it out, I thought they were going to score.
As above Toppolaj was quality, I don't know where 6/10 comes from. That last ditch tackle near the end of the game was outstanding.

And MoM was a hard one today with John being my pick. If he was 3rd choice LB at York then the first 2 must be outstanding.

John was my pick as well for MoM. Was a close call, but he was a rock at the back, what a machine! We didn't look like conceding today - it's been many years since I've thought that about pools (if ever!) , keeper is superb, claiming crosses and even when boxed in for a corner still got a fist to it. This team seem to have something, it's a shame the ground was so empty and we all know why. I only went today as my 10 year old asked to go, and she loved it, I just had to explain pools don't normally boss a game and win 3-0

Thought Topollaj was quality today, great assist for francis goal and that late block to prevent a shot was absolute quality!, deserved a 7/8 for me. Johnson was better than a 4, we just aren't playing to his strengths, not getting much service to feed on despite controlling the game. He needs a half chance to score then I'm sure he will get more. Really impressed with the back 3 though, all strong quick and aggressive, kouogan my MOM today,he's an absolute unit. Really enjoyed the game and hopefully more to come.

Johnson got the assist for the 2nd goal didn't he? A 4, really?

How on earth can you give Johnson a 4 and say he dosent press enough???

Our 2 forwards press none stop, something we were totally lack last season with Mani!!!

The 3 lowest ranked players all had assists, and Topallaj made a brilliant goal saving challenge just before full time!!!
We all see things differently (and watching live is way different to how things seem on TV), and we all have players we like or indeed not like.

Can’t understand the criticism of DJ,he works his nuts off, plus,he’s never really been presented with any chances.
He thrives in low crosses into the 6 yard box, which we aren’t doing.
He’d have got a bagful playing with Cleary.
