Drove into a retail park in town early this morning and a painted white roundabout had received a Red Cross painted on it..l can only assume someone must have been really offended …. because it had cones around it and a first coat of white undercoat slapped on it.

The Red Cross flag is a white flag with a red cross, symbolizing the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and its member societies, providing neutral humanitarian aid during armed conflict under the Geneva Conventions. This symbol, originating from the St. George's Cross, was adopted in the 19th century to protect aid workers and medical personnel, representing neutrality and safeguarding those who provide assistance to the sick and wounded on all sides of a conflict.

It’s your flag regardless of colour, creed or religion if you’re British.
It belongs to no particular interest group, body of thought or religion..

Offended ?……..I’m being ironic…but why such a rapid response….. it posed no threat to anyone.

Council playing by the rules Snowy, all painted roundabouts must be white.
They say it could be a danger to drivers if they are not painted totally white!

personally i think the whole of this flag thing is getting silly but we did not start it. it started with ukrainian, palastinian ones and that bloody rainbow seen everywhere. just ban them all apart from english or british ones on public buildings or in private gardens.
