If the first three couldn't score against us, can't see Woking scoring either so:-

2-0 win for Pools.

in theory that should be correct but we,re bound to concede sometime and with them struggling saturday could be the day it will happen. we need to stop this positivity as i feel i,m on the wrong board.

The Cards have lost first three games but were a bit unlucky against Wealdstone on Tuesday so they are improving. They will be absolutely determined to defend like fook and hope for a set piece or a break away just like Braintree but without the forward threat. On present form we should win but it wont be a push over. Hoping for a 1-0 win. Another variable is Pools not wanting to bust a gut with Southend game on Monday.

Would like to see Pools playing Southend on the Bank Holiday with both teams still not having conceded a goal.

should be a narrow win if we dont tweak too much with Benn out--2-1 Pools will cement a good start and allow us to get some players rested for Monday...

We will need a little patience tomorrow I think - losing the first four games of the new season is sack the manager territory, regardless of which level the team is performing. Ardley will have his players fired up, super motivated from the off and Grayson needs to do the same with Pools, nobody should be comfort sitting on an unbeaten run and three clean sheets. Match Woking for commitment & effort and we will win 1-0, fail do so and we will be relying on the turn of a friendly card.

Nice intro, he may have already lost his dressing room, we’ve just got to continue what we’re doing and hope they continue what they’re doing.

But surely the ‘not wanting to bust a gut on Monday’ theory applies to all teams in that position….I happen to think the next game is always the most important and the points we can accrue.

First of all we need to forget about Monday its the same for every team in this league. We need to win today and play better than we did 2nd halftime other night to achieve it or we will come unstuck. We know the strength in the squad is weak but so be it winning comfortably today would help us anyway for Monday.

If we adopt a policy of thinking ahead about future possibilities instead of the next game, it’s a distraction.
The game before you is the most important game regardless of the opposition….and accruing points is the target regardless of the opposition.

they say its just one game at a time but guess managers and players do have half an eye on the game after it.

6 pts more from August would be an excellent start.
A please to surprise for the majority of us.

No live commentary just been announced on Tees, I thought it had all been resolved ?

Can you get the game on the local radio BBC station that covers Woking. I think its BBC radio Surrey.

Absolutely night and day compared to the last few seasons, every player grafting, we look solid at the back never thought I'd say it but Parkes will struggle to get into the team, these 3 are immense, McNally might be the best CB we've had in years.

This is pools so famous last words but looking v comfortable against a poor side

We have 3 proper defenders and a keeper at the back and have been clinical with chances
Let’s keep it up in 2nd half

Nowt to be gutted about, very early days and caveats we have mainly played poor sides and our squad is way too small but if this continues happy to give Singh credit for hiring a good manager and competitive squad
We can still do that and criticize what he has done previously on recruitment and how he has conduced himself…it isnt all or nothing
