That was utter, utter shit, easily worst performance of the season.

If the likes of Brown, Barker, Porter, Mccunnie etc think that is an acceptable performance then I suggest you give yourself a good look in the mirror because you may aswell not have been on the pitch.

Oh and before some idiot starts with the "were 5th (or 6th or whatever we are) in the league, wouldn't you have settled for that at the start of the season" then I couldn't give a shit, im talking about the 90minutes out there today which we were utter dross.

Were they over confident? I don't know but if they repeat that again on Tuesday we will be hammered.

Not sure about hammered but we will certainly be beaten again! I think we did underestimate Walsall, Who to be fair came for a Point and pinched all 3!

Forward line was woeful today (As been said in a previous post), Hopefully we've got the bad game of the season out of the way and bounce back on Tuesday Vs Carlisle! I think we did need something today as Carlisle & Forest will be very difficult games for us

nobody had a good game for Pools today, the midfield were unrecognisable from last week!!! As somebody said somewhere else, that's the lack of consistency in lower league players. They have to bounce back on Tuesday, and I think they will. It's rare for so many players to be poor all at the same time, the manager has to get them re-focussed for Carlisle.

Against Swindon we got a point against a very good side where we dominated for the whole second half.

Today we dominated nothing.

I agree...but you shouldn't have singled out 4 because how Brown, Barker, Porter, Mccunnie any worst than the rest of them?

its further evidence of what a clueless tit he is. they were actually 4 of the better performers.

Porter was dreadful. You can argue that it was his first start in months till your blue in the face but he has shown in 30+mins substitute appearences that he is better than that and that he usually has more desire. I dont believe his poor performance was just down to be unfit, a little effort would have helped. Hopefully back to Moore next game and I never thought Id say that.

Barker tries but he is not suited to the fast tempo of football we play and he doesnt even seem to win many headers. Mccunnie wasnt bad but wasted the ball more than iv ever seen and Brown, well Ali G would have done better today, absolutley no end product from Brown all game.

last week v Orient were like Brazil, yesterday we were like Billingham Synthonia. i dont know why DW took so long to change it round when we were blatantly crap, onwards and upwards roll on tuesday night.

DW changing it around cost us a point.

The team that started wouldnt have lost..............and could have sneaked a win.

The team that finished was going to win nothing.

But just get over it.

I said the same thing to appleyapper in the boozer last night. It reminded me of Shrewsbury at home last season. We were losing 1-0, not playing particularly well, but wholesale personnel and formation changes merely confused the team for ten minutes and they scored twice more very quickly. DW seemed to learn from that and didn't do it again unless forced to do so by injuries/sendings-off in other games.
We had a point, but ended up giving the initiative to them, they threatened a couple of times before finally scoring. We didn't threaten at all - just accept this sometimes and take what we have.
