The police have today re-iterated their targets to halve knife crime and violent crimes against women. Shouldn't their targets be to end them?

I was always brought up to respect the forces of law and order but I must admit I struggle these days. The last straw for me was during the Epping migrant hotel protest, Essex police escorted a bunch of masked Socialist Worker types from the train station to the scene of the protest and drove them away in police vans when they (the police) decided it was time to stop the protest. The police first denied they had done this and then admitted to it. Absolutely unbelievable. I always thought the idea was to keep opposing protesters apart rather than bring them together. Its as if the police want trouble to start and then they can start on about the "far right". THey dont seem to want peaceful protest.

Problems associated with all of these types of hotels like the Bell have become too widespread now.I doubt very much if the likes of Starmer and Co can keep a lid on it anymore .

Does anybody think it's time to have compulsory ID Cards. Maybe us not having them like most of Europe is an attraction.

I agree, makes things easier all round and the reason economic migrants can come here and work in the black economy with ease ….unlike in Europe.
