What's the crowd like? They announced a figure yet? Many from Dirty Leeds turned up?

Anyone know who the trialist is? Josh Donaldson?

Really good game, pools very impressive big, strong, fast.

Donaldson was the trialist and only trialist today took it well after a good run from miley.

Have to mention the lad from Bromley very good player allthou its a bit difficult to single him out in what was a very impressive performance.

Yes you can say well its only leeds 3rd team but you can only beat whats in front of you and they never got a sniff.

He is the only outfield trialist we have kept on. Took his goal well and would be a useful option to come off the bench.

Smith played the full 90 minutes and looked comfortable, thankfully he appears to be over his injury.

I really enjoyed today’s game with excellent performances from most of our new boys but special praise has to go to Luke Charman who produced a performance that we rarely saw last season, if he continues to play like that, he will be in Pools starting eleven.

Poor show from a so called big club Leeds with only 200+ fans making the 150 mile round trip.
Compare that to a massive club like Rangers when 500+fans made the 400 mile round trip to watch their under 19 team

To be fair I thought that was a decent turnout from the Leeds fans as even their own club site stated it was a team made up of mainly U21/U18 and a couple of players with first team experience. Their first team are actually playing in a tournament ATM.

Its true the 1st team had a game today, but that was in Germany so no excuse for such a poor turnout from there fans.

Give over ! their hardcore fans will have been over in Germany, probably a 1000+. Many of the others don't bother with pre season games, especially when its their reserves playing.

A solid looking defence performance with Smith only having one scary moment when Kouogun let one bounce through. I can't recall Smith having another save to make. Encouraged by the performance against a team with more skill, but Pools dug in & stuck to their task. Topallaj looks athletic & could cause problems for other teams in this league.
A bit disappointed with the attendance for a long-serving player, albeit one who divides opinion amongst the fans. It would be interesting to know if RS was in attendance for a player who is well-deserving of a testimonial

I heard Parkes in the carpark after the game, telling his accomplices "I wouldn't get a game on that performance" or something to that effect

I think Smith was captain yesterday

Need a proper goalie signed up this week and some cover up front---I'd be fine with Hunter and Folarin being let go if we could use their wages combined to sign 1 decent player
