Besart Topallaj

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

The squad is starting to look a lot stronger now. We have got him on loan until January with the option of making the deal permanent.

Certainly got plenty of defenders. We need some creativity in midfield in my view.

might be playing an improved version of sarll ball where midfielders are only an extra line of defence.

Agree we need guile in the middle, you can have the best defenders but a GOOD keeper is a must , Reid has said in his interview he scores goals inside the area.
Think we can see that SGs priority is to make us difficult to break down, Probably playing with WBs who can also defend.
The 2 up top are known goalscorers but need the service, Not a million miles away, But still work to do.

Yeh agree on Graysons style and he is no mug---agree a keeper is a must, if we are looking to grind out results in low scoring games we cant have someone in dropping clangers every few games.

The signing of Reid has me feeling a little less pessimistic but as has been pointed out we really seem short of creativity--maybe the hope is Campbell becomes the player we hoped he would be last season.

I can see some VERY attritional games and if we dont start the season consistently on the right side of those some impatient fans.
We really did drop a bollock not keeping Mancini--need someone like that to break open tight games

I could pronounce Fergys name....................................
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck it is probably a duck!

His name has connotations with Fiddler On The Roof.
