Don't know too much about him but apparently he has played CB and LB so I'd imagine his strengths will be as a defender, maybe York wants a LWB and Kitch fits that role as his defending was never brilliant but his attacking game was good?
At the end of the day LB / LWB has been a problem area for us for a while as Fergy was in decline, this fella has got experience at higher levels and is only 25 so good luck to the lad.

According to York fans,he is a LWB & pretty useless in a flat back 4.

its not a case of accepting it the facts are that we are where we are. talk to any fan of an ex league club in our situation and they do not like it either and never will. remember talking to a halifax fan last season at the shay where he said this should be a league 2 game today. his side have been away from league 2 longer than us but still does not accept where the club is. big thing we have a lot in common with the halifax,s of the league but nothing with the traditional non league fan of clubs we play against. even the away support they bring to the vic shows the difference as none travel well.

I think everyone is a bit downbeat after the alleged takeover doldrums and information desert we’ve been living in….to be certain of anything …..and the prospect of business as usual is hardly inspiring …it’s all very muted, but two moths in will tell us roughly where we’re going.
