Reform win Throston Election

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Reform win Throston Election

People are fed up and want change..........

But!!! Only a 20% turnout, which to me is saying people are fed up with the politicians of this country.

correct even the tories and the party who has been in power for years cannot rely now on low turnouts. can easily see a record broken somewhere for the lowest ever turnouts in any type of by election. its called being ground down.

Shocking turnout and the best candidate, judging by character, !ost.Reform couldn't even be arsex to put a comment on the mail which all the other candidates managed.

i,d go with that as long as it was only at a polling station with the proof you are what it says you ar. other forms of voting is open to abuse. if you are ill or on holiday its just tough shit.

The electorate deserve what they get, yet they will still be moaning and groaning about the services they receive, they will say there is no point, well there is no point if you don’t vote then.

When all politicians of all colours are out for themselves, their career, and their party I'd say none of us deserve them. Voting is irrelevant if every government is intent on f*cking us over, all you're doing is electing the coital position.

20% voting for a party and 80% ticking to abstain offers nothing different to 20% voting for a party and 80% Sat at home. They’re abstaining either way.

With the amount of voters who turn out these days the country is completely set up for massive party changes so Reform will win. The problem is the other 80% like to moan yet do nothing about it.

at least reform give people a reason to vote. support them or vote against them if they are not to your liking. its not just a vote for the three old parties and the odd independant anymore.
