Bloody Communists! loony leftiesI would take that with a pinch of salt, might be an element of truth in it, just like in the UK, some will say miners got paid more than 4th division footballers, which was not true, but even if it had been, look what miners had to do for it, dangerous work should be rewarded and it used to be.
Not many people seem to know, that when the NHS was created, the majority of doctors were against it, as they saw it as having a negative impact on wages, Many Drs took the p*ss back in the day, fleecing poor people. The Labour government had to offer them a massive financial inducement, in order for them to agree to the NHS. Remember, then, nearly all doctors, unlike now, came from upper class white British backgrounds, and many were no different from the coal owners of the day, in their greed and their view of the masses. Thankfully these days, I find doctors thoroughly decent people, especially the foreign ones, of which there are many, as the young upper class these days find there is more and easier money to be made as a banker

These "doctors" are trainees or apprentices in any other role.
I heard a quote from a Consultant who said " i dont take leave in August (when the new juniors intake starts at a hospital) as i dont want them killing my patients"

There’s a good point, from personal experience, but not mine.
