wqhen you get a packet of something and it says 'tear here' and you try and tear it and it's made from steel re-inforced carbon fibre and the bastard won't tear??

In this case a packet of pistachio nuts. :evil: :evil: :-X

and then half the bag of pistachio nuts will be unopenable as well.that really gets me,do they weld them together

go for the scissors and remove the possibility of getting slightly annoyed. When you've stabbed the person next to you it is a good time to open the packet of nuts.

i had to ask the daughter to open a jar of beetroot the other day
it is becoming a common request these days

Stick the jar lid in an open door frame(where the hinges are) and then close the door.

You then have an open jar.

Your paintwork on the door might need some attention,but you have a shoiteload of beetroot waiting to be noshed :grin:

lack of co -ordination would prevent me from holding the jar and the door
