To be fair, the new players are a level above what I expected, if the out of contract players sign then the season might not be the disaster we've been expecting.

Mani and Joe signed would show ambition at least.

Sheron signing up for two years is the best bit of business so far, and massively surprised me, I thought he'd be away. I think mani staying will be dependent on a takeover, as a few people have mentioned, but still wouldn't be surprised if he moved on. He's at the age of one decent move left in him., but I'd love to see him stay.

With regard to M&J i think they is only one thing preventing them from signing for another club at the moment

Just the standard levels of disappointment then.

V hard to know about who we have in so far, none of them jump out as statement signings but will know more once we see them.

We have absolutely nothing going on in attack though which is worrying, I can’t think
Of a more inept front 3 than Folarin,Charman and Campbell

Also worried a lot is being expected of Miley who so far thee jury is very much out on, if Grayson can coach him to stay the right side of his man so he’s not booked every game that at least will be a start!

The jury is certainly not out on Miley imo, the lad is class and if they stay fit him and Sheron will be a terific midfield pairing. Agree if Mani and Joe go we need new faces up front.

Totally agree, miley is a fantastic player. Him and Sheron are the way forward.

I hope Miley does as well as people think he will, best chance of success for would be in the ‘Holohan’ role with Sheron and walker playing the role of shelton and feather in an optimistic scenario

I am not digging out Miley just not made my mind up yet, hopefully he’s as good as people say he is

Time will tell if he’s a prospect or a poser.
Bit early to tell at this stage, but the promise is there….see how he performs under our new manager.

Yes almost everyone we have could improve if played in a proper system that compliments of, hopefully we don’t play 5 at the back and 2 very defensive midfielders who can’t run on top of that…

We actually need a settled environment and patience…this constant apparent 6 month life span management wise is getting tedious and unproductive .
Can we try patience and having a common goal.
Let managers manage.

That's true. Also the best teams have continuity in the squad so it only gets tweaked each season and not completely wrecked.

Sometimes it seems there appears to be some time limit where success is expected and if nothing is forthcoming change occurs.
This may work in most walks of life but not in football.
Get an experienced manager and his coaches in ….then leave them to get on with it, they know the business, back them and be patient.
Take no notice of the loudest terrace gobshites ….as they get quite aroused being gobshites, unreasonable expectations from them is no guide to anything.

Personally I don't think managers getting sacked has anything to do with their performance, I reckon if they say good morning in a funny way to 'he who should not be mentioned' they are on his hit list.

Can't wait for the 25-26 shit show to start. I've a feeling all previous Pools shit shows will be outshone by this one.

I've gotta stop coming in here. Lots of people who absolutely know the score but there are people going on as if all is fine, sticking their hands in their pockets if it's business as usual.

Sounds like business as usual for this or any other MB. Thankfully reality will kick in within a few weeks and there will be no hiding place for all participants in this shitty summer of collusion, deceit, ridiculous speculation and downright lies.

There's none of us absolutely know the score, and there's very few optimistic posts on here, and that's the reality of the situation.
The fact communication from within the club is at an all time low is disgraceful and especially as a new Director was appointed a year ago with the specific remit to improve the fan experience. Throwing a black-out blanket over the clubs isn't doing that, are you still there, is anyone listening.......?

This is going to be the most shitiest season in Hartlepool United's history.
And it's all down to one person with thin skin and his pathetic weak ego.

You can't spell Singh with "sigh". Shelley and other potential buyers must be sick to death of the little slug by now as well.

the only way anybody can improve the fan experiance is getting a side together thats going for promotion winning far more games than they lose and draws are only there for our away games. all the rest is just noise and bollocks from above.

come back the day before our first league game. give it a couple of weeks of inactivity the next thing someone will post is we have only signed the dregs nobody else wants. if we had signed somebody back in early may there would be somebody saying whats the big rush unless it was somebody they actually knew and rated.
