Of course I know people in the know.

"Played a few trophy games (Papa Johns) for us, that's about it. Not good enough"

Sounds like nothing more that the usual type of signing to me so far.

Not good enough for League One? Well if he was he wouldn't be coming to a National League side would he? Same goes for not being good enough to stay in Bradford City's side last season - they won promotion to League One

The relevant bit of his cv for us is the season before - got into the Solihull Moors side in the second half of the season and mostly stayed there. That side was good enough to reach the play-off final - in the division Pools actully play in.

do not let facts get in the way of the doomongers who are happy to write anybody off before seeing them. go back two years and the same might have said the same about manny d because we signed him from a club with less than half our gates.

Mate who's Bradford ST holder told me:

"Yes we liked him. Held a place down for a decent period in front of Brad Halliday, one of our 'dogs of war', early in the season. Reasonable pace to get down the flank from RWB. I saw his dad play for us in the 90s for a short period"

If the happy clappers were to be believed every summer, we should been promoted several times by now. Their irrational optimism with regard to signings has been sadly off the mark much more than it's been on.
