The player interviews were about a minute and a half each, and both were a tough watch and as the title of thread suggests it wasn't because she was a woman either, it was just poor full stop. I'd have happily waited until Monday for something more tangible- it's not like we're not used to waiting!

Unless they've got something interesting to say, I'd rather not hear anything tbh. The same old nonsense about the fans, glad to get it over the line, blah blah..and I just don't mean that about pools, it seems a modern trend across the board. I find it a bit insulting, I'd be more interested if they told me about their dog or what they had for tea.
It's like the players profile pieces in the programmes in the 80s, "dislikes - injuries", " favourite food - steak" .
As an aside, my favourite player profile was Phil Brown, "hobbies - catching chickens and telling lies"
