you have to learn from your mistakes, surely we won't be signing another Luke Williams, Jason Kennedy, Bryn Morris, Jordan Cook, Alex Lacey, Otis Khan, Kieran Wallace, Gary Madine or Anthony Mancini. Surely not.

Sounds like a Kieran Wallace mark 2 , though consistently played league football in between injuries

then whats the point of signing and paying a wage for an injury prone player when you need to sign another to replace them and bloating out the squad just in case.

Any player is a risk I get and sometimes you have to take that risk of the reward
Is good enough….shame we didn’t do it with Mancini but there you go

An underwhelming signing like we've had plenty of summer after summer. You can whine about negativity but the VAST majority have turned out to be just as underwhelming as they first seemed. It doesn't take a genius to spot the pattern.

People write a lot of because their is a pattern developing of the type of player we have to turn too. And 99 times out of 100 it doesn't work out. Think fans are just fed up with low quality garbage we bring in.

I suspect they’re brought in to do just enough to keep us afloat in this division.
Life support signings.

I'm not sure wether it's 100% the quality of the signings or the fact we rarely get the best out of them, or a combination of both.
Players come here having accepted what must be decent deals then don't live up to expectations, Charman and Campbell for examples. Given the changes in managers and coaches, is it a deep seated dressing room issue?

they are not exactly low quality garbage when you look at the games they have played for clubs higher up than us. think most have expected to see better versions of many signings we got like wallace. have these players been unlucky, desrupted by managerial changes or just taking the wage and giving as little back as possible.

They are on their way downwards for a reason. Our recruitment has been terrible. Bad luck is one thing but this a well established and all encompassing pattern of incompetence. By the way, I include the revolving door managerial circus clown show in that as well.

Back to lack of signings and where they may come from. We signed a player 21/22 season who'd played 2 NPL games the season before, and 10 EFL div 2 games in the 2 seasons before that, turned out he was pretty good for us (Jamie Sterry).
The only thing that matters with any signings is what they do for us regardless of what they e done before, where they come from, or what they do when they leave.

Can you therefore delete my post with 'HUFC would be rated as bad' as that followed the Care Quality Commission post which has been deleted.

By the way derwent, looking on the web about articles about Raj, there are some very damning comments about the man. Looks like his solictor is going to be very busy over the next few weeks or so.

He cannot just pick on the bunker when there are far worse libellous statements elsewhere.

Everybody is free to follow the path they individually choose.
You have to educate yourself on the understanding of freedom of speech and the confines of the law.
I know you like to nark the pitch and judging by the communications I receive, so do a lot more people.
I don't ban people out of hand, even those who sail close to the wind but there is a seriousness attached to the path forward for us and our forum and we have to address it as adults.
I am trying to do that. I need help not hindrance. The day I come to the conclusion that certain people are trying to put obstacles in my way. I will bounce said people out of here. Make no mistake about that.

Apologies to mr Derwent and Irrelevent if you judged my comments to be over the top . The point I was trying to make is we are the clubs customers and should be treat with respect by the owner and I was asking if his attitude is the same in his other business interests no malice was intended,

I don't think the deleted posts were dodgy but it's not my neck on the block and if it was I would have probably played it safe too and hit delete.

Callum Johnson was all but signed. He Was with the club Friday but club decided to stall the player physically signing. Gateshead and York have now come in over the weekend. We can all sit and blame Raj but it’s not good enough from top to bottom. Johnson has solid League 1 pedigree. Should have been wrapped up rather than stalling.

The norm now is that we a last resort club.
The kid from Sheffield Wednesday choosing Altrincham over Pools.
The lad staying at Spennymoor.

Something desperately wrong if Tinpot Gateshead are a bigger attraction than Pools.
