Palpitations for the new season.

the club will organise a masked ball as it would be bad for the ego of any player recognised we didn,t sign up.

Quite apt that Accy- as the situation is one huge masquerade!

We will not even emulate Ebbsfleet's diabolical season without a takeover very soon.
Administration/windup appears more acceptable than being humiliated by part-time NL clubs so starting over, debt free is my preference.

Whats the rush, There is at least 3 weeks till Pre-Season.

There’s a gulf developing between fans and the running of the club.
For the first time in my life I’m starting to feel detached, the club suddenly seems distant and uninterested in us…..but lack of meaningful contact with the fans does that.
It’s not a nice feeling.

we all know how to change this situation but we cannot do anything about it until a miracle happens and it does.

I hope he realises that he will go down in our long history as AT LEAST our second worst ever owner. Despite all of his good intentions and talk of redeeming himself for Darlo, he's taken a relatively clean slate and painted shit all over it. He may say that Darlo were already doomed before he got there, but this one is on him. It's on you Raj... In my opinion of course.

Until said miracle happens - we continue to rake over the same old coals!

Only news I'm expecting from the club- assuming they even bother to tell us, will be the departures of Joe and Mani in the coming days

Completely disillusioned with the whole shit show, that currently is OUR club.

the worst thing is we have not reached rock bottom yet. how will we react when we do is the problem. in life i have always said you have to reach there before anything dramatically improves.

We’re in a rowing boat with no oars..or rudder, …..and the currents against us…apart from that and the dense fog…everything is luvverly….did I mention the sharks..?

Pre season starts on Monday, will there be a few trialists on view ?

Monday it is, But i think players are due in today for the usual checks.

Hartley’s season had more promise

surely you mean the hartley who wrote a book about angling. at best next season will be a dull one of mid table obscurity and quick exits from the trophy and fa cup. at least a relegation battle means games are of utmost importance unlike one where our season is about over before the january sales finish.

Never understood how, that if you had written a book- you wouldn't have at least ONE copy of it in your house!

Mind you …he may not have been the real JR Hartley and just pretended he wrote it to impress the over 80’s virgins in the local community centre .
