about time this horrible place for the opposition is buried once and for all. the pitch might not be great by our standards but it will be better than a lot in this league and is actually grass. even the dressing rooms are not the ones of the past where the hot water was limited. ok it might be cold but less chance of getting soaked to the skin like playing next season at halifax and rochdale.

He did come across well, He is NOT an idiot.
He is a decent bloke, And will bring in players who will play for HIM.

actually i think you could say the same for all those who have gone before him. its just that they all made there mistakes and did not really understand the job they had taken on. doubt any of them would have applied for the job in the first place if they had a low estimation of themselves in there own capabilities.

He is new to the job so only fair to to give him a chance particularly the way things are at the moment. Lets see where we are in December.

I actually thought he did ok.

When he was on about us liking tackles, I think he was specifically referring to the one Reyes Clearly made in the Gateshead game, he must have raced about forty yards to put a tackle in. He was right about it getting a huge cheer, and it did get everyone in the crowd going.

Thats exactly what he was on about, If you can get that spirit running through the squad then we will be on our way.

Tell you what I did notice, at the beginning of the video Grayson says, "...when I spoke to Raj and the rest of the owners, and the board.". Rest of the owners?? Don't know if I'm reading too much into that, it's just I thought Raj was the sole owner.

He seems a decent guy, has some background and i wish him the best. However, it's been the same for what seems like 20 times with a new manager that ultimately doesn't work out.

He talked with all the owners? I'm guessing he meant Raj's inner circle like Lee Rust or Lennie.

This guy has an impossible job, will be lucky to still be here come December or maybe he is thinking so be it i will get a pay off with this numpty in charge. The standard of players he will be allowed to sign will no doubt be the dreggs. Raj will be praying he is another miracle worker like challenor was.

Let's be honest we're all sick of the same shit even from managers that rock up here, having to thank the chairman for every signing they make, how we all need to pull together etc. That a boatload of signings are coming. Then in a few days it will be trailists in friendlies, then it will be the loan market, then we get some loanee that never plays, it's like groundhog day.

I enjoyed watching that and got the impression that this guy is no mug and knows what he wants. Whether he'll achieve anything is an unknown but I'm prepared to give him a chance. As Snowy has said "time will tell".
Almost every player, manager or coach who gets involved at Pools all say the same thing regarding us lot and how we get behind our teams and make the opposition feel uncomfortable or even intimidated.
So let's create that very scenario because, without us all singing from the same hymn sheet, we'll achieve nothing. A well rehearsed cliche I know but the fact that the cliche is rolled out regularly just might mean it's a cliche worth hanging on to.
