So living half way around the world is ‘affordable’ for the average pensioner ….my arse…Thailand has a reputation for appealing to men of a certain age and if you think I’d swallow any other guff you’re living in the clouds.

Never look down my nose at anyone Snowy you come across as the Lord of the Manor talking down to the serfs with your unfunny sarcastic comments.
Anything I post on here is stuff which is freely available on the net, if posters want to criticise me blame AI or Google.
Yes I embrace emoji’s well only one the boring one as I find many replies boring and lack knowledge, many are because of envy and jealousy more so yours because they are so repetitive. Your aim in life is to try and pi** me off, plenty have tried but never succeeded.

It's impossible to piss you off as you're clearly already the most miserable bastard on here by a country mile.

Lighten up and join in the craic ya grumpy owld Siamese twat.

I would do if there was any craic, it’s just one whinge after another from the majority of posters.

I've tried my very best to think of other reasons for your piss-poor social skills Jambo - but following that comment, it's crystal clear that you really do not have any self-awareness whatsoever.

I genuinely hope that you'll find some peace and contentment in your life, but fear that you never will.

Do yourself a huge favour by proving me wrong...

Difficult as when a certain quote level has been exceeded, you delete some then your reply could be directed at the wrong poster.

Snowy another one who has a one track mind thinking Thailand is all about sex and ladyboys, no idea how you form your opinion, you have never been here, you probably spoke to 2 week sex tourist you have met. Do you actually know any one who has been here and settled down, currently 3 million plus expats live and work in Thailand, I am sure they can’t all be sexpats or do you know otherwise ? Unfortunately we get the 2 week sex tourist who come gets pi**ed for 2 weeks and after being here 2 weeks become experts on Thai life. Unfortunately again people who choose to live here all get tarred with the same brush with comments from them when they return home.
I can criticise who are what i like or you trying to curtail free speech, certain areas in Hartlepool and the U.K. are open to criticism or is it all utopia ?
Let me know where you glean all your information as you have never been here about the country and the expats who live here not from the 2 week sex tourists, I would be very interested to know.

I have some very nice home cooked spicy Thai food to look forward to. What you having one of those frozen Thai meals from Iceland, you can’t beat the real thing or a Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney Pudding out of a tin ?

I never mentioned sex and lady boys…you did.
Then proceeded to ramble on about them and the sad lads out there.
I just think it’s a humid nowhere in the armpit of Asia….getting a tan and drinking really ain’t my cup of tea.

Make sure the elastic on your incontinence flares are well secured to avoid leakage after your overindulgence.

See the thing that I've observed throughout my life Jammy Dodger is that every truly-contended person I've ever met never needed to mention it even once.

It simply shone out of them like a lighthouse - so brightly that Ray Charles would spot the fucker.

Unlike your air-raid siren of angst, regret and bitterness...

If it gave you a…’decent income’ why did you move to Thailand and complain about prices in this country…..we all manage nicely……get your alibi straight.

Mainly for the climate as well and my income stretches further, I wake up every morning not looking out the window to see what the weathers like, I can now travel on short haul flights in South East Asia, already done Cambodia, Bali, Vietnam 3 times, Hong Kong in October and Japan next April. Many fantastic Thai beach islands, 1 am 20 minute boat ride away from one, August for a couple of days then New Year for 4 days.
That’s what I am spending my decent income on Snowy, I couldn’t do that whilst living in the U.K., hope that answer your question.
We all manage nicely who does, I read day in out about child poverty in the U.K. and kids going to school with no breakfast and over a 1000 food banks, pensioners can’t afford to heat their homes, yes indeed we are all managing nicely Snowy, of course your attitude is I am all right Jack, very selfish attitude I would say.

Not many beaches or sun in Amsterdam is there Sussex, tbh you are a very small minded person, knocking shops are the last thing on my mind at my age, might suit you though if you could ‘raise’ one, I believe viagra is available on the NHS now.

you must realise by saying you have moved to thailand you are going to get some stick. know its not all sex and ladyboys but those are the things heard and seen the most unless you wish to dig deeper into a country where most cannot be arsed to bother me included. its a case of word association. you say thailand and most will reply a couple of things. like say bradford its pakistani,e, oldham its grooming gangs and luton a shit hole.

Accy, top and bottom the ones trying to wind me up have no idea what life is like in Thailand, unfortunately they read all the ‘Gary Glitter’ (who was denied entry to Thailand) stories and as I said listen to 2 week tourist sex pats who never ventured further than a bar stool in Pattaya or Patong when here with a bar girl basically a prostitute looks 20 year old but probably nearer 30 plus as Asian women age well fleecing them for very expensive lady drinks probably only orange juice at £5 a pop.

its a bit similar to me moving where we did. being 10 mile from both bradford and halifax its hard to get people with pre concieved ideas about these places realise there is more about the area especially if you have dogs to walk . it aint all flat caps, whippets or asians by a long way even if the latter do exist. unless someone goes anywhere they,ll never really know whats in front of them as books and youtube can do real hatchet jobs on anything just to get views or sell a book. everyone loves a bit of controvesy more than the opposite. like foo revues, i never watch the good ones.

Thanks for the support Accy, people have pre conceived views about Thailand and S.E Asia and many other places but have never been there.
When you mention where you come from Hartlepool, the general reply is monkey hanger or who hung the monkey.

Just a correction on the Foodbanks Jamie...

There are over 2,800 food banks in the UK. This includes the 1,699 locations run by the Trussell Trust and at least 1,172 independent food banks tracked by the Independent Food Aid Network. Additionally, new research indicates that schools are now operating an estimated 4,250 food banks, exceeding the number operated by the Trussell Trust and independent providers.

Absolutely disgraceful for 'Great' Britain. rakxe

Sounds like a dodgy quote from some firm flogging bungalows in Thailand expats looking get get involved in their ‘culture’  and various ‘pastimes’..the rest is you being a cocky little snob bragging about your new life in the land of Gary…a sort of bolt hole for those who were never very good with the chat up lines in the UK and headed for distant shores in desperate despair.

Why not, Hartlepool is world famous or infamous for the story, you would be surprised how many Thai people live in Hartlepool, they have weekly meetings over in the Marina.

Thanks for the update Mutley, yes it’s a disgrace considering the U.K. has the 6th largest economy in the world.

Before food banks…what happened?
I pass two on a regular basis, one put a local greengrocer out of business because they were offering free vegetables twice a week, yet people putting the free veg in their car boots….I’ve yet to see on food bank with starving people in rags….

Food banks would always be a growth industry because for a lot of people it’s saved money for something else.
You really don’t see the other side of human nature if you think all those people are really in need.
It’s a sign of a failing society of people in a community not the state

Jamie’s naff endorsement is him having a pop at this country to endorse his Thai. fantasy and counts for Jack shit.

Snowy before posting inaccurate comments check out the facts, you don’t just walk yo to a food bank and get free food, there is a system in place. A rather lowlife snobby comment about the people you see at food banks, do you expect emancipated malnourished people to turn up in rags and no shoes ?
Ah Snowy you have got to get your little dig in, i could understand if you had ever spent anytime in Thailand, maybe you have and a lady boy done you over that’s why you are so bitter and twisted plus I put it down to envy and jealousy, you really need to change the record.

Maybe he's the Paul Raymond of Pattaya, or the Scarface of Siam..? I can just see him strutting round the streets wearing a cravat, a Homburg hat and some spats.

Daft twat probably does a canny Edward G Robinson impression too, and keeps his fishpaste sandwiches in a violin case.

Depending on who is actually running the food bank you have to provide some with the information needed to obtain the food. however its not the case for all especially the ones near me that supply discounted food to everyone with a 10 items for £5 scheme where most of the items cost betwee £2 an £3. i take advantage as i aint proud like my parents would have been and if i did not do it someone else would with more money than me. at least i,m not on my smart phone going in and loading up a car bought on credit.

Ask your mates who you glean your info from about Thailand Snowy, if you have any that is which I doubt. I get my knowledge from the fellas who frequent the seedy side and post on the many social websites comparing prices, I will send you a few links, we do have MSM here.

No idea why you rule Thailand out as you have never set foot in the place. I won’t list where I have lived some for several years as you would say I would be boasting all just as cheap and a better infrastructure than Thailand.
I get the I pressin you think Thailand is some little town, population of over 70 million, 76 provinces and twice the size of the U.K.. plenty of places to walk your mutts.

No wonder Trump called it Thigh land  ..How do you cope when the drains come up in the stinking heat, Jamie?.. bloody hell folk are moaning over here and the thermometer hasn't even touched 30C yet.
