On Twitter, poster seems quite reliable from previous posts

Takeover update…

It is now understood that the Heard Group has deposited further funds in relation to their proposed takeover of Hartlepool United. The only remaining impediment appears to lie with matters on Hartlepool United’s side.

We will have to wait and see......

I think I'll keep my powder dry for now- however that does sound remotely positive.

Also, Herd haven't come out and said they have walked away, given the Hullabaloo of goings down at the Vic this last week.

If something was imminent there would be no way the club would be throwing two year contracts for managers around without a prospective buyer being involved. Just think it through.

In Raj’s mind it’s business as usual. He clearly doesn’t think there’s any deals in the offing.

It's unusual for Raj to offer 2 year deals also isn't it?

For a player yes for a manager no. Limbrick got 18 months, Askey the same initially before getting a new 2 year deal, Curle got 2 years, Hartley 2+2 etc. etc.

I stand corrected, I thought they were all mainly 1 years and with a probationary period. Must cost us a fortune paying off sacked managers when we go through about 3 a year.

Now saying this -

Will hold my hands up and admit I’ve jumped the gun with this information, I should have checked this one further.

Will double down on information such as this, in future.

However, this is confirmed from someone close to the takeover. DD is currently paused by Raj Singh.

He is digging in, likely won’t show his face 1st game but his minions on the board should have a fe chants hurled their way in his absence, they should know by aligning themselves with Singh they are endorsing what he’s done and should be seen as equally responsible

That slim hope was quickly extinguished - glad I kept my powder dry :angry-tappingfoot:
