Is it time to cut back on the amount of games players are made to play.
Players surely must be tired and then are thrown into more meaningless matches for the club world cup.
Then thats no sooner over and for the big clubs its flying round the world for friendlies.
Surely the players union should say enough is enough.

They tired because they run around on a pitch foran average of 50 minutes, by the time you put all the stopped, subs and set pieces plays into effect.

However, I'm with you. They don't know what what really hard work is

Friendlies are stupid. Football is only watchable and relevant when it means something.

there are more than one way to get tired. you do not have to have an old school manual pick wealding job to be knackered. used to get the same off an ex wife who said i should not be tired because i was sat down all day driving a bus. one of my best mates worked down the pit before he bacame a pro footballer but admitted both were tiring but the football lifestyle made up for it. todays stars have only known football and can only base tiredness on that.

Some days, when I got back from a days bricklaying I’d be totally fucked! Could barely stand up and had to crash on the sofa before tea. I’d be physically worn out and my brain would be mush, usually because of wind or cold but sometimes by working in dangerous conditions.

I watched the last 20 minutes last night. It was obvious that the English players weren’t that bothered so why even play the game?

Money?

your last sentance summed it all up. money both for the players and the FA. players can be bang average intenationals now and obtain well over 10 cap. more than many really good players got like frank worthington. too much football especially of the international kind but we all kno what brings the cash flowing in.

We haven't a hope of winning next years world cup. The Euros in 2028 is in England, so home advantage might help us, but no doubt we will be knocked out in the semi's or beaten in the final again. I am now resigned to us never winning a major tournament in my lifetime!!!

I put T20 on after Kane's goal when they were passing backwards and forwards in front of goal instead of trying to run up the pitch and play football.
I got to see an England win

Soon be Autumn Watch.
Bottom 4 and non entry in the FA Cup for 3 years in a row.
But only 7 pts behind the play offs with Lennie saying let's get these tough December fixtures out of the way against Truro n AFC Halifax.

Then we fly up the table.

I was there at Wembley in July in 1966. And in 1923 I was actually the White Horse. Still have nightmares about it. sadx
