Always thought it was genuine.

But after watching the conspiracy theories on you tube maybe Leggie was correct a while back.

Watch n then pass judgement.
50/50 after watching that like.

I love conspiracy theories, so much so that I've even paid money to see David Icke live on stage in Brixton. The mad bastard did over seven hours - highly entertaining, and well worth the entrance fee.

As surreal as he got though, nothing was more weird and alien to me as setting foot in fucking Brixton for the first time..!

Because there is nought worth having there, it was an ego trip by the Americans to get one over on Russia.

You’re right Jamie…The Russians put the first Man in space, the first woman in space, the first satellite in space and a dog was the first creature in space.
So the yanks had to out do them on an over the top extravaganza trip.
If they actually went that it is

The wind blowing the flag when there's no wind on the moon and like above mentioned why has no-one else been back to the moon.
Obviously leaves the conspiracy theories up to debate.

The debate is which conspiracy theory is most ludicrous.

All the money spent over the years on this nonsense might have been better spent giving people clean water, etc .
It’s all about ego’s.

and spending tax payers money without asking them. the big problem is the interest shown by millions when any rocket is ever released even if i have zero interest in it.

That is a very good question. I'd arrived in plenty of time and had settled into a pub nearby, and thought I'd mosey on down to the venue around 1 o'clock as the doors opened at 1.30pm. When I got to the Brixton Academy, I could scarcely believe my eyes.

The crowd started at the doors and snaked round three sides of the building. And as I walked to the end of the queue, I realised that I had never witnessed so many freaks in the same place in my entire life.

I mean these weren't just a few random dodge-pots mixed in with normal folk, this was every single fucking one of them. Two thousand plus of every kind of nutjob you could imagine, dressed as if they were off to Stonehenge for the fucking solstice.

It reminded me of the queue of "buggerers and skull-duggerers" at the toll booth in "Blazing Saddles"..!

Seriously, and without any exaggeration at all, I felt like the most sensible gadgie on the planet compared to these mad bastards.

There were styles and colours of hair that I have never seen before or since, and clothes being worn that the Sally Bash would hoy in the fucking bin.

And a starving Ethiopian wouldn't touch the food some of them were scoffing.

For the first and only time in my entire life, I felt like the sanest and most normal man on the planet.

Thankfully, David Icke had a shirt under a sensible jumper and pair of regular trousers on, and at that point I relaxed and enjoyed the show.

Excellent experience on the trip to London I'd arranged for my 40th birthday.

And on my return home, it was at least six weeks before the lads at work stopped ripping the piss out of me...

im envious  I've read quite a few David Icke books years back and they're a very good read, and very well researched , you've got to give him that. He loses me a bit with stuff like ted heath being a child eating lizard sctatchinghead but I quite like his books.
I went to a gig in Brixton years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed drinking there, it was a bit mental. After the gig we ended up getting a stoppy back in a pub down a back street which was a bit nervy, we were the only white people in the street, stood out a mile

He is a very interesting bloke, and certainly someone to give a fair chance to if you're trying to make sense of the world. I believe every single word he says when it comes to how money and finance works, and he's pretty convincing in many other areas of interest to me.

As you mention, the lizard stuff does seem to be the turd in the punch bowl, but some folk think this is deliberate to avoid him getting sued by the people and organisations he is critical of. Appearing to be a nutter would go a long way to getting any legal action quashed by a judge.

One thing you cannot criticise is the effort he puts in, and his conviction in his beliefs. He is really entertaining on stage and a very funny man with a knack for taking the piss out of his targets. Going to see him is most certainly worth the money as he did over seven hours when I saw him. Even Ken Dodd would've struggled to beat that.

He might well be a nutter, but he's my kind of nutter...
