In the Mail:
"I'd like to thank all the fans for everything they've given me and all the players throughout the last six years I've been here. If you look at every league we've been in, they've always been one of the biggest attendances. I can't ask for much more and I really appreciate every single one of them."

We need to get used to us being a last resort club.
The seeds were sewn 900 days ago.

Our Billy picked up on it straight away.
Good poster who tells it how it is.

Sing Out.

He's off then- all the best to the lad- can't blame him for going given the current shit show. Just hope it's EFL and not our league where he ends up.

Only waiting on ManiD and Sheron now- should be moving heaven and earth to keep these two.

Over to you Raj- if you're stopping, show some ambition and give them what they want on 2 year contracts OR face the increasing wrath of the glowingly disenchanted fanbase. As we're not going to sign better quality players than these two.

And ya can't rule out Fergy now.

Even a prospect of a 2yearer at Spennymoor looks more inviting than a 1yearer at Pools which could be popped by Xmas due to A.

Can't blame the lad at all. If it is Donny Mols and Sterry have both moved there and enhanced both themselves and Rovers too and doubtless have influenced Joe.

He should have been signed up on an extended deal several months back but like countless young talent before him he has been permitted to leave Pools for nothing as a result of gross mismanagement.

Raj Singh and 'ambition' do not belong in the same sentence - the prime reason why he should ship out and allow a more committed buyer to restore OUR club to what it once was rather than the laughing stock that he has recently turned it into.

If i was one of those players i would be happy just to get away from Pools even if that meant a drop in leagues.
Next season could be a disaster if things aint sorted soon.

Ever get the feeling everything is falling apart in slow motion…..this is very odd…and an atmosphere of neglect and indifference permeates from the club.
Be very wary of what our collective future olds..
Our club is like a Ming Vase in the hands of a one armed juggler.

he was probably been offered an extention earlier but used his head and refused to sign anything. at the moment anything looks better than playing for pools.

Exactly…I suspect some are more inclined to safeguard their special seat than affairs off the pitch.
I do not buy this loyalty guff line.

loyalty is a two way street as well. its a case of ehat loyalty comes first. the owner to fans or the fans to the owner and club. you cannot separate club and owner nowadays. more,s the pity.

Joe told fans pitch side after the last game that if the ownership was sorted he'd sign the contract that he'd been offered.

He started off the season really well, probably the only player who looked better under Sarll (maybe Dixon too).

Of course Id like Joe to stay, he could progress his career at Pools but only if we are finally rid of Singh. Having a new ownership would be like having the dark clouds removed and a new dawn breaking over the club, players, employees and fans alike. Or am I in Tellytubby land?

I think the lad has a lot of potential, I'm not sure we have seen the best of him. For the sake of the lad it's best he leaves, unless a miracle happens in the next two months.

If the miracle of a takeover happens then the 1st home crowd would be 5000 to Sings 2900.

Nothing telly tubby about wanting 2000 more fans in the ground.

Start with Sing and this painfully slow death continues.

Singh can accept the final offer on the table, walk away from the club he saved back in 2018 and be remembered long after us lot have passed as the guy who handed over the reins to ambitious buyers and opened up a new era of success (hopefully).

OR he can dig his heels in, allow the takeover to collapse for the sake of a few quid and be remembered as the guy who was responsible for the clubs relegation to it's lowest ebb (NLN) and likely it's death via administration.

Exactly that, and when he originally came here he said something along the lines of wanting to right the wrongs of what happened at Darlington. Surely there is some shred of humanity in him that still believes that, I'm still hoping this is businessman posturing and his end game is to hand it over.... Minus his 'commission' of course

He only wants to stay because HERD are in the wings and have the capabilities.
Once they and others are brushed aside/sickened, Then he can sicken the rest of us by folding the club, Because within 1 may be 2 seasons it will become unviable because of the debt HE has accumulated.

Think On!!!

I think you’re being naive, money is the basis of all these events and it will be the deciding factor.

Probably, but maybe not - money obviously wasn't the reason why Singh initially got involved with Pools. As BL states above, maybe there is still a shred of humanity left that will enable him to do the right thing ie walk away with the final offer in his pocket and give the club a fighting chance of returning to the EFL just as he did back in 2018.

think you are spot on with your assesment of what the gate will be for our first home game. if only pools were seen as important enough to get some national publicity then things could change quicker than they are.

Brian Clough did the same, in his own inimitable style.
