Not sure if he resigned from the Heed or was pushed. Either way the club have given applicants only until Friday of this week to submit their CV's. At least one NE National league owner is aware if the importance of hitting the close season running.

This is why i started the "Millington" thread the other day.

A gateshead fan posted on x that Magnay was going to SShields and Millington was coming to pools or gateshead.

Your guess is as good as mine, Thing is this fan posted about Mags days before, Maybe they have an insight to pools.

Why would he go to South Shields. They have just appointed Ian Watson as manager, he was assistant under Williamson who went with him to MK and Carllisle then back to Mk. Would be odd to resign as Gateshead manager to go to Shields as assistant? Suppose things not great at Gateshead at the moment and they faded away towards the end of the season.

Some doubtful rumours but then you never know in football.
