Based on where we are he would fit the profile but if he’s swapped Halifax for us in our current state he’s making a bad move

Looking for, or dreaming about possible managers or players, is off thr radar while we endure this self inflicted balls up of a way to run a football club.
Time has stood still for us, queueing for a bus that’s not coming.
Make no plans and bury your dreams because you’re just teasing yourself.

Yes, there's nowt so queer as folk - especially in Yorkshire.
What exactly is unpopular about reaching the play-offs twice and winning the FA Trophy in 3 seasons to any normal fan?

i have heard some are not over keen with the style of football they play. as you say there should be nothing wrong in what they have achieved but some want total perfection by being fairly succesful and playing the game as they think fit. all ways to play the game are good if the club is going well with it and bad if they are not. i could have put up with sarll ball if it had brought promotion to us.

Speaking of Millington, here's a name from the past that is hard to forget.

https://chesterfc.com/rip-grenville-millington/

Played for RHYL when they beat Pools in 1970.

Saw him at the Vic a couple of times during the mid 70s, decent lower league keeper.

RIP
