I see that that Darlington icon, the Brick Train is to be refurbished to its original condition thanks to the sterling efforts of Darlington MP Lalalala Lola McEvoy. Personally I thought it never looked better than when it briefly appeared in blue and white livery.

I remember doing a cartoon in the Monkey Biz for the brick train…after a Pools win.

Refurbishment? - it's a fucking pile of bricks- stacked in a train type shape. Were they expecting it to move? or maybe they've decided to add an Heskulator and some gold taps! Only in loidland bbolt

if its darlo related surely Brick is a spelling error and they could not find the letter P.

It’s not actually in Lola’s constituency, Matt Vickers is the MP in that area. Vickers organised the clean up whereas Lola turned up a week later for a photo op claiming credit for it.

Ah thanks for the clarification LS, Lola obviously knows how to handle the media as there was a big article in the NE regarding the Streak!
