I've been going to the Vic for over forty-five years, and I've seen more ups and downs than I care to remember. It breaks my heart to see so many of us divided over the way forward. I totally understand and respect peoples views, but I cannot just walk away from the club I love. It's been my Saturday afternoon all my life and I just can't give that up. I'll be renewing my season ticket because I know nothing else. And if we die I'll be at Hartlepool 1908 or whatever guise we rebuild as.

Never Say Die!

I'm in favour of returning to Hartlepools United if we have to rebuild minus debts.

Hartlepool Victoria FC is another thought.

I'm not against reforming - let's be honest we could start in the same league Darlo were put in and walk through those first couple of divisions without breaking sweat. They made it to NLN with a much smaller fan base than we have. Winning every week could also get a few of the younger kids back.

My choice of name would be old skool- Hartlepools United, and would also revert back to the Victoria Ground (none of this sponsorship nonsense). Though hope it doesn't have to come to that.

Whether you buy your season ticket or not is neither here nor there, but if the worst happens, you’ll be the ones out of pocket.
We live in interesting times.

In response to the thread title- my sauce tells me that that has also been reviewed by the Rajanator and the use of the word 'Never' has now been dropped.

In favour of the more catchy RSD -
'Raj Says Die!' -apparently this is to reduce printing costs & you can never say never! bbolt

and the phone lines to childline so busy on a saturday other kids cannot get through. yes they stormed back to the NLN but for one reason or another seem stuck firmly in it. even doing a halifax we,d only be back where we now are.

We'd have double their attendances though. We'd have no problem surpassing them and getting back to our current league

you,d think so, but with some of the managers we have had and our recruitment of players i would not put a penny on it. if anybody thinks with singh gone that by some miracle everything is going to be rosy they need to think again. things were shit for years well before he walked into the club remember.

I get that, but we weren't exactly firing on all cylinders then. A new start, a new era, a new chance to rebuild and get everyone on side. Our club. Our town. It's actually quite an exciting thought when you think about it

the one good season we had that ended in promotion was typical for pools as we were not there to see the vast amount of it. then a decent season after with good gates to be all thrown down the pan afterwards. the so called feel good factor certainly existed but was never built on and ended up being destroyed to be back in the position where he came in.

My pick would be West Hartlepool and Foggy Furze Allotments FC....if nothing else we would have the longest name in the league...
eventually.
